Great place to stay near Cooperstown
We took a group of folks for the Hall of Fame weekend and stayed here. Plenty of room, stocked well and very close to the events. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful Family Vacation Spot
Our stay at Lakeside Manor was absolutely delightful. The house is secluded with a great view of the lake. Cooperstown is an easy drive for daily opportunities to tour the city. The private tennis court on the property was a big hit with our grandchildren.

Beautiful house and property
The house and the whole property was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our 3 families to stay while our kids were playing at Dreams park. We swam, canoed, played tennis, fished, and enjoyed the incredibly peaceful lake and surroundings. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Just perfect!!

Lovely home
The house is quite large and accommodating. 5 bedrooms with 4 full bathrooms was just right for our large extended family. The kitchen is enormous and well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/silverware, etc. We stayed in late November so didn't get much outside time but the property is very nice and well maintained. Excellent view from the kitchen of the lake. The house is very secluded and the road in is a bit tricky so be sure to follow the instructions given by the managing agency. Would definitely stay here again!

The Big Easy in Springfield
Our family gathered for our brother's Memorial. A couple didn't make it, but those that did loved the house. It was perfect for our group, allowing most to have a private bathroom and a downstairs bedroom for my elderly sister. The kitchen and kitchen table were the gather spot for all of us. The kitchen is huge and so well equipped for anything! The large table was perfect for meals, morning coffee, scrabble and crafts. The lake view was magnificent. The house is so quiet and filled with lots of wild life, fish, birds (Am. Eagle nest!), deer and fish jumping in the lake. Our only disappointment was that the dock was not in. since it is the primary picture on VRBO, and it was May we assumed we would be able to gather on the dock and fis, kayak etc. It was a very BIG disappointment. We made due with the lovely deck, tables, chairs and umbrella. Our weather was nearly perfect. We would love to come back, if the dock is in.

Lovely
Absolutely gorgeous place, inside and out. The home is stunning. It has a really nice layout and was very comfortable for our group, ages 4 to 84. The kitchen was well stocked and set up in a way that made sense. The views from every angle were beautiful. Everyone had comfortable rooms and slept well. We enjoyed sitting around the large dining table, playing card games in the living room, and playing piano. As for outside activities, it was wonderful! We loved playing tennis (courts right there), canoeing across the lake, and relaxing on the deck. We also loved the historic houses and other activities in the general area. It’s a very friendly, beautiful area. So special. A few notes: the fire pit area is pretty small; you’d have to be sitting in the unmown grass to have a fire. We brought wood but opted not to use it. Relatedly, tick checks are important in this region. We found several tiny ticks on the kids. (Which we know to look for given our active outdoorsy lifestyle. This is in no way a criticism of the house. Just a reminder for other guests to do their checks!). We love birds and wildlife in general and found our experience at the house so refreshing. Highly recommend.

serene and lovely
the house & location were just right for our group - unfortunately, it rained nearly every day. With sunshine, it would have been perfect! Only problem was the poor lighting in the house - hard for doing puzzles and other rainy day activities.

Pictures didn't do the house justice
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with our children and grandchildren. The house had many areas for us to read and chat when it was raining. What a thoughtfully, and fully stocked kitchen. It was great.
