「New owner as of few weeks ago. Restoration work being done. Beautiful setting, Pecky cypress ceilings in main area. Wood floors with beautiful carpeting up stairways and through halls. Very clean. My room appeared to be recently painted. Very comfortable. Wi-fi iffy. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Continental breakfast. Apparently lightning strike on chimney has created some problems. 「Sooo, the location was great. However, the bathroom needed some attention. The towel hook was loose & the shower head needs to be changed - it was loose & spraying water from the wall. The pressure was too high & we couldn't turn it to change the settings. I also recommend switching up the breakfast menu at least every other day (i.e. oiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc.) On a brighter note the staff (front desk, housekeeping, & cleaning/maintenance crew) was VERY pleasant and friendly. 」
