When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

The location was great as we could walk into centre to enjoy seeing the sights, yet return in evening to a beautifully quiet location. 「We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It was in a nice area around a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. It was also closely situated to the Zoo and the University in a neighborhood of locals. This gave it a nice mix of energy while we were walking around. We could easily walk to Centraal Station, Rembrandt Square, and all of the major museums. There is a light rail stop one block away, which we also appreciated. 」

「I stayed in March 2025. The flat was very typical of the Amsterdam homes, which added charm to our stay. The location was near the tram stops, had a "neighborhood bar" just a couple buildings away, great food spots right by the rental, etc. Everything we needed was included, like tea pots, coffee pots, dishes, wine glasses, etc. Since the flat is on the top floor, we had to climb 3 flights each time we went out, but again, the staircase just added authentic Amsterdam to our stay! The host...

「The appartment was really big, spacious and 3 out of 4 walls were in windows, which made rhe room opened, bright. But had curtains to close at night. A small kitchen was also nice, just enough to use for basic dinner. Loved it. 」

"As expected, it is a hotel which could fulfill your basic needs of a stay. My room has been upgraded to a four people room with windows at 3rd floor and two more single beds, which is obviously too much but a more spacial environment. The room come with a coffee machine but without a kettle. For one person stay it's not the best but still a comfortable choice. One thing to improve is not not set two single beds as one queen bed...It's hard to sleep on the edges of two bed so I could only sleep on one side of the bed – a single bed..."
