Convenient Location for Hiking
This house is convenient to excellent hiking trails such as Grandad's Bluff, Hixon Forrest, and Perrot State Park. But more importantly, the property is extremely clean, organized, spacious, and comfy. Our host, Beth, was very attentive and was always a step ahead with welcoming us and guiding us through the exiting process. I would highly recommend this property for a stay.

Property was comfy and just what we needed. It was a very warm weekend and the a/c struggled to keep the upstairs BR cool. But this probably isn’t a concern most of the year. The host was good enough to send an appliance part that we accidentally left behind. Much appreciated.

Great House!
Wonderful home to stay at. Much larger inside than the exterior picture reflects. Two bedrooms in the basement, one on main floor and two upstairs which spreads everyone out which is nice. Very clean and modern. Host stayed in touch but never needed anything as house was very well stocked with even some nice unexpected additions. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot
It was only a short stay but it was perfect for the 8 of us. Plenty of sleeping space, plenty of supplies if you forgot something(toothbrush, toothpaste, coffee, etc). The backyard was perfect for a fire with plenty of chairs for everyone! I would 100% recommend this place. Also Beth was always in contact with us!

Great overall rental
From the moment we walked in the door, We felt at home. There was a greeting card with snacks. And a cute basket with everything we might have forgotten for the dog. There were plenty of blankets and pillows everywhere. There was a great kitchen table we played cards at. The kitchen had everything that we needed. There was only one TV in the property, But honestly it all ended up being just fine, We took turns, and the teenagers weren't able to just hide out in their rooms so that was nice :) We will definitely book again as our son lives in Lacrosse and attends the UW there.

Wonderful experience!
This property must be a gem in the La Crosse area! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home vs a hotel for accommodations. The owner is exceptionally responsive and they make the home as inviting as you’d expect a 5-star hotel. The home is super cute, updated, and in terrific condition. Feels much larger than it is with a large comfortable living room and electric fireplace as well as a nice size kitchen and large dining room with table that seats 8. Sleeps 10 comfortably…5 bedroom 2 full baths. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with nearly every utensil, spice, cleaning/storage bag/supply you can think of. Conveniently located right next to UW La Crosse campus and only 3-4 min drive to all the shops, dinning, and nightlife offered in downtown La Crosse. We absolutely loved our experience and will definitely be back because of the place and the owner (Beth…tkdest.com).
