It is tucked away in the far parts of Kyoto, so I would recommend going here if you’d like to experience a disconnect from the hustle of tourist activities while still experiencing Japanese culture. We loved our stay at the onsen hotel. It was a great way to see the more quiet side of Kyoto. The hosts were amazing and friendly, they even helped us to get a taxi after checking out. The food was delicious. Everything was prepared fresh every morning and evening and there was a variety of foods to choose from. We definitely will be back next time visiting Kyoto.

This was one of the most memorable expiriences I had during my trip to Japan. Ohara overall is such a charming town. The staff at the inn were very kind and attentive. Our room was so cozy and we even got lucky with a room that included a private bathroom. The food was amazing as well.

In Japan for a month. This was by far the best place I stayed. Staff was amazing. Food is great. Rooms are clean and spacious. And the onsen is relaxing and peaceful. Great Japanese Hotel

The hotel is amazing. Japanese style bedroom with hot spring makes the experience more wonderful. The staff are kind and helpful, and they do their best to fulfill our request.
