「Traveled to Tx to pick up a puppy. Just a couple hours away from Lumberton and could not pass up the opportunity to stay here. Easy to find with the hosts flawless directions and ease of communications. Knew i would arrive late and self check-in was as easy as the hottub was warm and ready to sooth and soak the road away.. 「My friend and I needed a base camp for a fishing trip on the Trinity River and a nice place to cook a nice dinner and relax at the end of the day. We were within 10 to 30 minutes of all the boat launches where we meet our guides, and came back to a well equipped kitchen and charcoal grill to prepare a nice fresh fish dinner. We’d sit on the dock dunking worms to end each evening. We will be back!」

「The house was lovely, the yard needed mowing badly. Was disappointed the yard was not fenced. We thought a pet friendly property would have a fenced yard. The neighborhood was awful. We tried to not go out at night. Neighbors had large groups of people outside almost all the time they played loud vulgar music. The yard had little cockle burrs bad. They got into our little 6 pound senior dogs fur so bad we had to take him to the animal er to get them out on Saturday.」

「Nice cozy place with good amenities like hot tub, small firepit, creek access for good fishing and comfortable furnishings inside the house. Our only small let down, if you can even call it that, was that the location was not as secluded as we thought. It's pretty close to town and the other cabins on the property are pretty close by which makes it feel not as secluded as we hoped for. Overall, I would say 8.5 out of 10 rating though. Thanks.」

「This property is just as pictured. It is a cozy, lovely little place with views of the water as your constant companion. It is very quiet and truly “away from it all”. We loved having coffee on the front porch and watching the birds in the morning and having cocktails in the evening by the water with a fire in the chiminea. 」
