「The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

「We had a 3 night stay at Lake Escape. The property was ideal for our extended family with plenty of bedding options. We were disappointed with the BBQ and outdoor area. The BBQ was old, tired looking and not as clean as we would have liked so we chose not to use it, also the outdoor area was covered in cobwebs. Apart from this we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this property」

「This really is a piece of paradise...The location is amazing and the view from the house instance relaxation...The house is old so manage your expectation but it is a fabulous house we loved it and the bird life is just lovely to watch... There isnt great internet service which didn't bother us we enjoyed the disconnection but might not be for everyone ..」

「The house provided all that was needed. A chair was broken on arrival and needed to be reported to the agent. Cracks in the walls and a hole in the bathroom roof need to be fixed. Great area for short drives to sight see. Air conditioner was amazing on hot days. 」

「Excellent location with outstanding views and environment. Accommodation is excellent for what it offers, eg. quiet, private, comfortable. Would recommend at least a couple of nights stay. Come prepared for self catering as the town of Mansfield is at times very busy. It’s not 5 star, the cabin was clean and adequate in its offerings.」

「Our family weekend away was so nice at Loyola Lakehouse. The property and grounds were looked after very well. The property is well appointed, luxury and space! The process was easy from start to finish and only being a short drive into town made it easy to get supplies and enjoy some of Mansfield town. Would happily go back in a heartbeat!」

「Overall 3/5. Pretty location and quiet place. However the AC unit is bolted to the wall directly behind the bed head. The noise is really loud. The water is discoloured. We understand it is from the rain water tank. But we are concerned to drink it. When we seek help from the owner, the owner is overseas…. They tried their best to help over the phone call but they can only do so much. 」

「The house was very clean. We were a bit startled at having to bring sheets and towels, but we got enough warning to be prepared. The instructions came in a strange way that was hard to read but I managed to enlarge them enough to print them and if we squinted we could work out the words. The location was quiet, with good views. The beds were comfortable. We found the light over the table not good enough to play board games, but we were able to use one of the bedside lamps.」

「This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. The staff were very helpful with extending our booking a further night when we had to change plans late at night. My conclusion is the staff...

「I have never stayed in such a well appointed house. All the appliances were in excellent condition and nothing was missing, we even had sharp knives which is very rare to find in a holiday rental. The house is very comfortable for a group travelling together and a great location for riding the Great Victorian Rail Trail. 」

「I arrived late and the restaurant had shut 15 mins earlier. The owner made me a delicious Butter Chicken as Tuesday was curry night. Mickey from behind the bar was extremely good at her job and helped me with the local beer selection. The room was fantastic. It was spacious, clean and quiet. I also enjoyed a final drink in a comfortable chair on the balcony. The bed in my room was extremely comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. My only regret was not being able to stay for an additional...
