Killington is a natural paradise all year round; during the winter, it is one of the world's largest and most diverse ski areas with 73 miles of trails dedicated to downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. In the spring, when the snow melts, Killington transforms into the home of two PGA golf courses, and spectacular hiking and biking trails through Northern sections of the Appalachian Trail. There are summer festivals, motorized mountain tours, sky rides, zip-lining, ropes climbing, fishing, kayaking, and more. Autumn visitors will be able to enjoy the many fall festivals that enliven the area with arts and crafts, family activities, and hearty local fare.
This condo end unit features a comfortable family room with a wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceiling, a large flat screen TV with a DVD player, a fully-equipped kitchen; washer, dryer, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements include one bedroom with a king sized bed, a second bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a third bedroom with a set of bunk beds with a pull-out trundle and a single twin bed, sleeping eight. From your front door, in winter of course, you can ski through and onto the trail that takes you down to the Sunrise Triple Chair Lift. Once on the mountain, you can access any of the many trails Killington has to offer. Just as easily, you can ski straight home from the Sundog Trail. There is no worrying about parking or hauling your ski gear, a plus if you've ever skied with the little ones. In addition, the Sunrise Triple Chair lift does not require a lift ticket. It’s perfect for beginners to practice skiing down a green beginner level ski trail.
If you do not downhill ski or snowboard, or simply need a day off from the Mountain, Sunrise Mountain Village also offers complementary activities such as snowshoeing and cross country skiing. There is also a small ice skating pond to enjoy.
