Super convenient

We stayed here for 10 days while visiting family in Mill Creek. Marty was a very accommodating and helpful host. The condo is very quiet and clean with friendly and helpful neighbors. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only glitch was with the internet (was down during our stay) but our host worked hard to get Century Link to fix it- but service help in Salado is not very quick! The mattress is due for replacement but otherwise everything else was very good and well appointed. Recommend for a couples getaway in charming Salado. The town has gone thru many delightful improvements since I-35 construction was completed. Location in Mill Creek Country Club is a big plus!

Buyer Beware

I have stayed in a number of Vrbo properties & this is the first time I have been disappointed. My mother & I were looking forward to a "girls" weekend in a charming cottage & ended with a mess. We walked into a dirty house - wet laundry on the floor, bed stripped, dirty dishes. Tried to call property manager & only able to leave a message. My mother & I cleaned the house, washed dishes, did laundry made beds. Called manager again - voice mail. On Saturday the toilet backed up, called manager, voice mail full. Went to Home Depot for a plunger- fixed toilet, recleaned bathroom. Still no property manager. When we finally hear from her, she came by, told us she'd comp a night which has not happened. Friends, I wanted a weekend away from home with my mom. If I wanted to clean, do laundry & home repairs I would have stayed home. I caution you before you book this property, the management company is so restrictive, you cannot get out of a stay even though you walk into a property that is obviously dirty. In this age of COVID, that is absolutely unacceptable & dangerous.
