「A convenient place to stay, just a short walk from the train station. The room was nicely decorated and although advertised as cosy, it was fairly spacious. The bed was comfortable and more than sufficient amenities for a few nights stay. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner and the shower wasn’t very hot or powerful. Great food in the pub downstairs from a varied menu. 」

「This was a perfect get away , so peaceful . We stayed in stable 1 , two adults and our dog. Lovely comfy beds and pillows, duvet. Enough room for shorter stay. Everything was catered for . We had a lovely fire pit and BBQ outside the stable which we used . Views are amazing . Lovely pub a short walk down the road called the Punch Bowl , lovely food, wines, staff were so friendly . The lodge is awesome and communication with Margaret the host is incredible, she responded to every email I sent asking questions about the area and generously offered us an extra night as we had to cancel our other stay due to ill health. 「Great place to stay for a break, the caravan layout was ideal and the kitchen had all the facilities needed to cook meals etc., Having a shower/toilet and a separate toilet makes this property ideal for families. Cleanliness was of a very good standard and quality bedding provided. The location was quiet but within a few miles of towns and local pubs and eateries if you wanted to go off site. I would stay again.」
