「Our son came over from England- surfer - so there was plenty to find. Hubby loves to fish so the jetty was close by. I love birds so there was plenty to see and the Raptor Domain was close to visit. So we were all satisfied and great BBQs at night together with a family movie before crashing. Overall a good family reconnection in a comfortable home. PS I put the 80 in the fruit bowl on the table. 」

「Highly recommend Ocean View at Vivonne Bay! The name says it all -- it definitely has the best view in town. The accommodations were perfect for my husband, adult daughter and I. This was our first visit to Kangaroo Island and we found Vivonne Bay to be a great location to explore the island from. Highlights were feeding the wallabies carrots every evening and watching them from the deck and the gorgeous sunrises over the bay. 」

「If you love an amazing view then this is the place that you want to stay. You could spend hours just watching the changing view during the day. We had a wallaby and her joey feed around the cabin which was lovely. Easy walk to the beach to enjoy either the beautiful beach or to enjoy some fishing. The bed was comfy but the couches could do with an update. We were lucky enough to not have anyone else in the other cabin as there is not enough separation or privacy if there was someone else...

「This property is gorgeous. A very private setting with beautiful views of river and bush and we had stunning sunsets to enjoy. The two kyaks were such a bonus as the river was glassy for 2 days while we there. The pool table was fun too even though in need of repair and levelling. A superb spot to go.」

「It is a quiet and restful space. Just the two of us but quite large enough for 4-6 people to stay.We knew there would be no view of the ocean but we could hear the waves crashing nonetheless. Would definitely return 」

「We ABSOLUTELY LOVED Koopalanda Dreaming - the home is new and modern - beautifully appointed in every way. Fantastic location just across from the jetty/bay, and we loved the isolation and waking up to the sounds of the bay. Owner was a delight to work with in terms of check in times. This is a very special place and we will definitely be back there again.」

「You can try this homestead if you like wildlife, especially you can feed kangaroos. No wifi so you won't have connection in FB, whatsapp emails.....etc. If you want a quiet environment and try a real forest-feel cottage, it's worth to try. Also, no air-condition is available but it really does not need air-condition as it is quite cold at night and we even used additional blanket. 」
