It was a bit surprising to see the river so low – I remember seeing the news about the Midland flooding a few years ago and didn't realize the extent of the impact. While the riverbed being exposed was unexpected, the view was still nice, and we really enjoyed watching the local wildlife. The bedrooms were a little chilly, but it wasn't a big issue.
