「Hey Russ, Thanks for letting my wife and I stay at the cabin this weekend. We had a wonderful time as always and will be back. Only note just for info not complaining as we had the upstairs. I guess due to the power outage maybe the doors or windows were opened. There was an abundance of flies downstairs and just wanted to share as a heads up. We shifted to upstairs and were perfectly fine just wanted you to know I had the house secure and I guess those little pest got in before our arrival.」

「Enjoyed our stay right in the water front. If you take your boat, the boat launch that is not far from the house will not allow you to turn around to launch your boat. Owner of the house was super helpful and very sweet! She called to make sure we made it ok and called the day we left to thank us for staying. 「We loved the place so much we booked it again. The dock was so awesome you’re on the lake all the time. They provided kayaks for all ages. My 8 year old was able to go out and have fun with his older brother and cousin. We caught a bunch of fish and the property is beautiful. 「There was a mix up with rental being double booked. Instead of cabin we reserved 15 months earlier, we were housed in a house apparently used as part of venue operations. It certainly was not what we expected but we made the best of it! It was clean and bed was comfortable so we chose to overlook the minor hiccups. Most importantly it was a great eclipse viewing site and the actual eclipse experience was extraordinary! All staff members were very kind and welcoming.」

「The home was very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the one minute walk to the lake is incorrect. There is no lake access. All properties on the lake shore are private property. We wanted to do some fishing and had to drive up to Gun Barrel City to access the lake. TV service is poor at best. The signal was constantly dropping in and out.」
