Alte, marode Fensterläden und Betonwände ! Dann pro Nacht 10,-€ für den Hund. Kein Geschäft in der Nähe. Der Strand und die Tavernen waren super!”

“We spent 10 wonderful days in the charming surroundings of Elegant Maisonettes. The property is situated outside the resort of Kalamaki and is a short taxi ride into wonderful Zakynthos town. The accommodation is situated in wonderful grounds, with a great pool and various outdoor seating areas. It is the perfect location to stay whilst exploring the wonders of Zakynthos Island. Dionysios is a great host with fabulous local knowledge with lots of tips and recommendations in terms or restaurants……

“Each year we treat our four adult children and their partners (and now our little granddaughter too!) to a family vacation in the sun which we all look forward to tremendously. I spend a considerable amount of time looking for the perfect villa and this year I definitely found it in the Golden July. The villa is gorgeous, the grounds are extensive, peaceful and relaxing and the view is stunning! There are six beautiful bedrooms each with its own balcony and views out to sea! One of the bedrooms……

“The unit was in a unique location in rural Greece, in the midst of an Olive Tree farm. It was charming, quiet, roomy for us, and functional for our needs. The host was very friendly and kind and helpful. We appreciated the gifts of food (fresh tangerines!). Unfortunately, the unit we were booked for was under renovation, so we stayed in a unit attached to the house. Heating in the back bedroom was minimal, and the internet was not functioning for the first day.”
