「Where to start, these guys cancelled our entire booking because we were late for check in leaving us stuck in a monsoon with our 3 month old infant. When we finally got into the property the next day, a solid hardwood curtain rod fell on my partners head who was holding our kid. Very luckily only she was hurt. The restaurant was basically not working. The bar was shut. I get that its the off season but say this in your booking profile. When we decided to leave after 1 night to head to Unawatuna...

「We had a great 6 days at this lovely hotel. Location perfect and easy to take a walk or short tuk tuk ride to town. Lovely clean pool and situated right on the beach. Had an excellent albeit expensive massage - can recommend. Nice touch with short teaser massage on arrival. Very friendly staff apart from one older pool attendant who was not ! 「Stylish, peaceful and perfectly located for exploring the south coast. We think Ahangama is the best town for a mix of relaxation and great dining options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the breakfasts were a real highlight. A lovely boutique stay... would happily return.」

「It's a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, a bit fiddly with the coffee machine but no complaints. I was disappointed having arrived at 8.30pm that the 'all day dining' wasn't available. There wasn't any indication of the closing time on the website for evening meal. Had I known I would have eaten on the way. So perhaps make that clear on any booking in future. 」

「Had an amazing experience at DipnDoze. The property was very clean and cosy, very close to the beach, and great value for money. The staff was excellent, they were very friendly and made it a very smooth stay. Amenities were good, clean washrooms and air-con! Would recommend it for solo travellers. 」

「The room is clean and spacious, with no TV which provides you a very quiet environment. The bathroom is outdoor. The hotel service is very flexible that allows us the late check-out and late breakfast.」

「Großartiges Aparthotel. Sehr netter Gastgeber Upul, spricht sehr gut Deutsch, und auch das Hotelpersonal war stets höflich und hilfsbereit. Ruhige und perfekte Ausgangslage für diverse Touren. Die Villa ist neu, sauber, gemütlich und geräumig. Großes Zimmer, großes Badezimmer und große Küche mit allem was man benötigt. Kühlschrank, Herd, Mikrowelle, Geschirr, etc. Sollte etwas fehlen oder benötigt werden, einfach sagen. Es wird unmittelbar gebracht bzw. besorgt. Genauso war es mit dem Frühstück...

「No hot water 5 days 」

「Firstly the reservation hadn't been received so I had to pay for the room again and rely on a refund from Hotels.com. Nice room but very noisy with train line adjacent to the building. Location wasn't great with a 20 min walk into Ahangama and no nearby restaurant or food shops. I left one night early but no refund for the unused night from the hotel. Overall not a good experience.」
