「Property beautiful and full off character. A lot of steps throughout so not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. Everything you need for cooking is there and plenty of dining areas. Property does not have air con , so house very warm but overall a fantastic experience. Montecorto a beautiful village .」

「We would definitely stay here again. We found most of the previous reviews were pretty accurate. If you have a small enough car, you can drive to apartment, but it is not for the faint of heart. Otherwise it’s a simple 5 min walk (or less). The pool and the views were amazing. We found the town to be very nice without a lot of visitor traffic but good food and a few small stores. Nice mirador worth the 20 min walk. We did it for sunrise. The care taker was VERY helpful and responsive. 」

「A gracious, generous and very helpful host. The beds are super comfortable and bed linen is good quality. The house could have some renovation and some of the bathrooms are a little dated - but it is very clean and everything works well. The garden and pool is charming and is very secluded and quiet. We would return to the area as it is very charming and a good place to visit Cadiz, Jerez, Seville, Ronda, etc (and close to the beaches). Great value for money. 」

「Overall this is a beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location close to a natural park (great for bird watching) and La Barrosa beach...both within walking or safe cycling distance. Loads of great cafes and restaurants. Some amenities in the house need attention eg new toaster required, unable to use jacuzzi bath, BbQs need attention. However issues were addressed promptly when we raised these with Paco and Julia and we would all love to come back next year if the property is available.」
