"A simple review before diving into specifics – just book it! This property is fantastic!Terri has thought of everything at Poinciana House. My wife and I packed extra necessities for a trip on Eleuthera, but Terri had us covered — plus some! From beach towels, to snorkel gear, to bug spray, a first aid kit, the golf cart, guide books, a full cabinet of spices/seasonings, and more! We loved the ability to so easily get in the golf cart and hop from the pool at the house to the beach (take a short beach walk south to Pascal’s and say hi to Sammy the bartender), to the Wykee pool, to the water (with boat ramp) on the bight side.Last but not least, take your time exploring all that Governors Harbour has to offer. Driving 8 minutes south on Queens Hwy will put you in the center of town where you can find the best bakeries, fishermen selling their catch off the dock, a fish fry every Friday night, great restaurants, groceries, and tons of shops selling local goods/art. Overall, it was an incredible stay. If you’re on the fence about booking Poinciana, don’t be, just book it!!"

"This was our second trip to Eleuthera and it’s the kind of place that has you looking at real estate and thinking “can I just move here?”We booked this property before we left on our last trip because we wanted to stop by and see the outdoor area and the road to get there. Some places on Eleuthera are difficult to get to and I was wary about that for our next trip. Super easy to get to and the house had everything we needed. We cook most nights and all kitchen utensils and appliances were exactly what we needed. The hammocks on the deck were one of my favorite things. We had a couple days of crazy rain and wind, and the house had games which was really nice. Jackie also checked on us during the crazy weather, which speaks a lot about her as a host. She always answered questions quickly and had a lot of helpful information. The place we stayed previously advertised beach chairs and beach gear that ended up being in unusable condition, so we were thrilled that High Seas had beach chairs in great condition with an umbrella and coolers. The kayaks were also awesome! We would definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable and the location was great. Thanks Jackie!"

"This quaint cabin provided us with the exact experience my husband and I were looking for in the Bahamas. We spent 5 days learning the ways of life on Eleuthera, getting to snorkel just outside of the cabin, walk through the nearby town, and explore other parts of the island by car. There are incredible nearby beaches, easy access to the airport, and a welcoming community of locals and animals that made us feel at home. We paddle boarded almost every day out to our favorite coastline for snorkeling, and saw multiple stingrays, jelly fish, angel fish, and other beautiful tropicals creatures. It’s hard to not get attached to this simple, beautiful lifestyle!Special thank you to our hosts, who have been incredibly communicative, helpful, and bountiful with recommendations that made our stay so memorable!"
