Everyone we spoke with was kind, helpful and engaging. The breakfast was delicious and just right to start the day. We lived how beautiful and personable the hotel was and we look forward to returning back in the future. Definitely need your walking shoes for all of Istanbul and 9 Doors is no exception, but there is plenty of restaurants, shops and near so many major beautiful wonders. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Ich fand die Unterkunft sehr heimisch man fühlt sich zu Hause bei einer Familie. Das Hotel-Team ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit danke dafür. :) Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr praktisch und ca. 5-7 min zu Fuß von der Haltestelle Sultanahmet entfernt. Ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen und auch bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Istanbul bevorzugen und wieder buchen.

Charming little hotel, clean and cosy bedding. Our initial room was small but we were upgraded halfway through our stay. Good breakfast, attentive staff. We'd be delighted to stay there again.

Property is on a dark secluded street outside tram tracks. Room had dumpsters outside the window so kept hearing rubbish being collected along with the terrible smell which meant we can’t open windows, on top of the sound of trams going by. Breakfast was very bad, fruit wasn’t fruit and the options were very limited despite being a buffet.

Hôtel très bien situé et agréable

L'hôtel est très bien situé à quelques pas du coeur historique, malheureusement un peu en contrebas, ce qui implique de monter et descendre sans arrêt pour accéder aux principaux points d'intérêts. Les hôtes sont très gentils et toujours à l'écoute. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment copieux. La chambre est propre et le lit très confortable. L'essentiel se trouve fourni. Le seul point négatif est la taille de la chambre, vraiment minuscule. Pour quelques jours, ça va ; pour un long séjour, ce serait vraiment difficile.

Sehr symphatische Gastgeberin, die 17 Jahre in München gelebt hat und perfekt deutsch spricht. Sehr hilfsbereit, gerade weil es nicht einfach war, für mein Fahrrad eine sichere Unterstellmöglichkeit zu finden. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, die jeweils einer Person aus der antiken Mythologie gewidmet sind. Einrichtung der Zimmer hochwertig und neu. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und liebevoll zubereitet.

Had a lovely stay here for a city break. Convenient to get to the main Sultanahmet area and get public transport. A lovely hub for a busy weekend. You need to be fit and healthy to walk up and down hill to reach the hotel, so would not recommend for elderly and anyone with health issues. Thanks for a great stay!

Sehr sauber & freundliches Personal. Bei unserer Ankunft allerdings hat das einchecken bzw. das einrichten des Wifi‘s ca. 30 min. gedauert, was um Mitternacht nach einer langen Anreise etwas nervtötend war, da der junge Mann nicht fähig hierzu war. Prinzipiell sehr ruhig, aber die nächtliche Müllabfuhr und die Wände aus gefühltem Papier war so laut, dass man dachte das tobt der Krieg. Die Straße war nicht sehr git ausgeleuchtet, sodass es etwas unheimlich wirkte. Wir haben in der 1. Nacht ein Zimmer im EG bekommen, was nicht sehr einladend war. Nach Rücksprache hatten wir danach eines im OG, was definitiv angenehmer war. Die Aussicht lässt natürlich zu wünschen übrig, aber dadurch dass man sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, kann man das überleben. Ich kann es aber definitiv empfehlen!

Very clean and friendly place. At first I thought the area might not be suitable but we found it to be perfectly safe and easy to walk everywhere. the staff are very friendly and always there to assist. rooms are average to small but well laid out and spotless. breakfast was great.
