「Lovely old grand building in an a beautiful setting- lochside with views to beat any! Friendly staff, great meal. A great location to explore some unique countryside from. Large enough to feel like a well equipped hotel, but small enough to feel exclusive and special. Older room, but felt authentic and comfortable. 」

「Good food and great place to stay 」

「Had a lovely stay at Gairloch Highland Lodge. Received a warm welcome from Michael who allowed us to check in early. View from our room was gorgeous. Overlooked Gairloch Harbour. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Gairloch. 」

「Beautiful location across from the old harbour. Great for walks in lovely scenery, cycling and beach. Decent restaurant for dinner. A busy Saturday night and a little understaffed. Breakfast was very disorganized despite having to preorder the night before for a set time. Everyone waited for coffee and food (help yourself buffet) also ran out several times. Seems could be easily fixed with some management and planning. Room was very outdated, but comfortable and clean.」

「We have travelled and stayed in too many hotels to count. There have so far been 2 that have stood out in our minds as giving excellent service. The Loch Maree has jumped to number one. Duncan who welcomed us, was fantastic. He surpassed any previous number ones! He could not do enough to help and make sure that we were comfortable and had all that we needed. When the Callan, came back from his holiday, he again was lovely, helpful and kind, but Duncan had already taken the top spot. The...
