「Owners obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making this a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We were able to witness spectacular sunsets from the the deck surrounding our tent. Be aware that this is dark country, so a local rooster will wake you up early! Only reasons for the 4 stars above: one of the restrooms was out-of-order, so we did not get private restroom as advertised. It wasn’t a big deal, though. Also, would recommend owners mow grass more frequently as walking through...

「It was such a nice place. The owners were exceptionally friendly, thoughtful, welcoming and kind. They have a very nice property with a great atmosphere. Really cool community room and fire area. Beautiful deck with good fishing and a gorgeous view. Just really loved it there 」

「My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night visit to Grouse Haven. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the snow covered woods on the property. We enjoyed our time at Grouse Haven so much that we hated to leave. Phyllis was a delight to get to know and was very helpful to us. We can’t wait to make a return visit to this lovely property.」
