"This place was very nice, clean & comfortable. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and the food & drinks were delicious. Its a short walk to the lake and a quick drive into town. The staff was very helpful & friendly as well."

"The actual place was nice. The check in process was challenging. We had to download an app and put in our passport information, etc. we didn’t have good internet service so it was very difficult. It would be nice if they provided more than one washcloth and if they provided shower soaps. The toilet was situated very strange. It was very quiet and clean. We were alone in the whole building. "

"Es gab ein paar kleine Unzulänglichkeiten im Haus, wie Defekte Glühbirnen, Kästen ohne Griffe, Türen schließen nicht richtig (vor allem die WC Türen)... Alles in allem war das Haus sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Wirtin sehr nett. Minuspunkt definitiv die Laute Umgebung. Tausend Hunde rundherum, die sich gegenseitig anheizen. Und das fast jeden Abend. Dafür bezahlt man dann auch noch Kurtaxe..."

"Da wir zwei Familien mit insgesamt 8 Personen sind, haben wir für unseren Urlaub am Balaton See, eine große Unterkunft mit Pool gesucht. Zum Strand ist es etwas weiter, als wir uns vorgestellt hatten und man von der Karte her annimmt. Aber alles war gut, da die Gastgeberin super herzlich, freundlich, hilfsbereit und lieb ist. Auch die alte Hundedame Bodzy war sweet. Wir haben alle ins Herz geschlossen und kommen gerne wieder."

"This is not an upscale urban hotel. Fried owners though have tried exceptionally hard to come as close as possible. Once a person accepts that you will be taken back to the real Hungary100 years ago or more, living the life of the lord(ess) amongst the real people of Hungary. Enjoy."

"Sadly, we stayed at this hotel for approximately 15 minutes before leaving. The exterior reminded us of the hotel from ‘The Inbetweeners Movie’ and we felt unsafe leaving the car. The elevator clearly had some safety issues and would jolt at every floor we’d go past. Our ‘superior double’ room was 2 single beds pushed together which you could feel every spring - the worst bed I’ve ever sat on. Awfully stained carpet and curtains. Draws were sticky with dust/crumbs inside. Dirty bathroom despite it being so small. Balcony was very narrow, dirty, and had 2 mouldy plastic chairs. The only positive was the receptionist (5th July, 3pm) who was very kind and tried to refund us. My biggest regret (other than clicking the non-refundable option) is not taking photos of the state of our room to use as evidence, however we just wanted to get out as soon as possible. Very disappointed. How this scored a 9.6 on Expedia I do not know. "
