「Stayed three hot days/nights in June. Smooth check-in by friendly staff with good English. The hotel is a little dated but was clean and very comfortable: room was spacious, excellent aircon (which was needed), sizeable bathroom with very good shower, comfortable bed, excellent fridge for iced water. Washing machine available. Well located at the quieter end of the main street in the old town. Very handy to key sites and transport. Typical breakfast was fine. Good value for money.」

「This hotel is located near a busy street and the ancient city wall . It might be noise if you are a light sleeper. But it was very unique to sleep so close to the beautiful city wall. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They recommended a very good Turkish restaurant just 2-3 minutes walking going through the city wall. You can also take a taxi to get to the old bridge crossing the Tigris river, which is so amazing. 」
