「Wonderful stay in this beautiful historic property. Lynn greeted us at check in and gave us the full run down of the property and set the tone for a great long weekend away. Reliable wifi and a TV with all the apps if you're looking to stay connected and plenty of opportunities to disconnect with trails starting right out the front door, a fire pit, and books and games to take advantage of. Close to so many activities in the area but far enough away to enjoy total solitude as well.」

We loved that the drawers etc were labeled to easily find items. The hosts were great and had all amenities available. The view was great. Some in our party used the canoe for early morning paddles around long pond. We highly recommend the home and the hosts. We will definitely be back. We give it a 12 out of 10 rating (12/10). 」

「The main reason we selected this property was the lake. Thats the cover picture for this place and a lot of photos touch on it. Its even called the lakefornt cottage, i believe. That is the only reason we selected this place. Much to our dismay, when we arrived inthe lake. We are from Texas so if this happens every winter, we have no idea. We wish the host would have told us this as we had planned activities around the lake. The water also smelled like metal when I showered or washed my hands. I...

「We loved this home, it was perfect for our stay to attend our daughters wedding. Close to everything, but affords a lot of privacy. Our host was always available for questions and the dog walker she recommended was a gem. Would definitely recommended staying here!!」

「We went in November for a small family retreat and did expect to nor did we swim or kayak. But being on the lake, sitting on the dock and small beach was a magical way to see so many many stars in the sky. It was steps to walk into Pawtuckaway park and go in a hike. We made it to the fire tower!」

「We had a lovely time at this property. Very cute cabin feel, perfect for the fall. We were in town for a wedding at Pats Peak and were able to walk to the venue. The host had a fire going for us when we arrived and the cabin was peak coziness! As other reviews mentioned the hosts house is right there but it still felt private. Thanks for a great stay! 」

「Fairly new house on the pond. Little sand beach. Canoe, paddle board and kayaks (need new/more paddles). Spacious. Large, well appointed and supplied modern kitchen. Nice master suite. Only one bathroom on ground floor for 3 bedrooms. Plenty of bench seating on deck facing lake, but could use use some chairs with cushions. 」

「The property is just what we needed. It is convenient to shopping and to the interstate. The house could use a little more TLC and a dishwasher would be a welcomed add.」

「The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. Frogs aplenty!」

「We enjoyed our cabin. Only a couple of concerns: the air conditioner was old and never stopped running (it didn’t interfere with out sleeping) and the shower was more of a mist instead of a spray. My wife was afraid to wash her hair. She was concerned about being able to wash out the soap. However, we would consider staying there again if we were in the area.」

"I stayed for one day and extended it for another day. The staff insisted on changing my room. There were not many people that day. They insisted on changing me to a room I didn't like. It was far from the room I stayed in before. I felt that the staff was deliberately making things difficult for me."
