“This is an old style hotel which has been modernised very well. I was aware of the lack of a lift and even though I was allocated a room on the third floor it was no problem for my 76 year old body. There was an offer at reception to carry my bag up. The dining area was spacious with fresh hot breakfast food waiter served. No air conditioning in the room but it only got direct sunlight early/late, so tolerable. The room itself was fine. The 10 min climb up from the harbour on a narrow-ish one……

“Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism.”

“We had a lovely 5 night short break at Les Roquettes. The hotel is so clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. We had breakfast every morning and it was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of St Peter Port, but there is a courtesy shuttle bus and the 41/42 public bus stops right outside. We used the leisure centre most days which was an additional bonus. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Guernsey!”

“The room and en-suite were lovely - beautifully appointed and very quiet. Just what we needed. The staff went out of their way to help. There are three car parks and we had no trouble parking. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of food for every taste. There are three restaurants, The Ocean, The Steak House and Buho (serving Mexican food). Sadly, The Ocean was only open one night during our four night stay as the fish dishes there were excellent. Seemed such a shame as Guernsey is……
