「We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we had booked 4 nights. The home was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed. All three beds were so comfortable (a little softer than we are use to, but so cozy). The home is decorated with so much thought, and was a wonderful place to spend time, with plenty of space for 4 adults. 「We loved our time here! The property is just like the photos and it's so close to Volcanoes National Park. There was an eruption the day we arrived and we were able to get to it in 10 minutes. It's also just beautiful to be surrounded nature. A comment: there weren't any blinds/curtains, so be aware when the sun comes through in the morning.」

「Beautiful garden, very nice jacuzzi and spacious living areas. In general had all the amenities you need to enjoy the area. Cozy cabin type home feeling which fits the area. Beds, especially the queen, were way too soft and sagged dramatically into the center (We are not overweight people). Made it hard to get a god nights sleep. 」

「This little cottage was perfect! It was super clean, had everything we needed, comfy beds, nice linens, fresh flowers and character. The owners put a lot of care into the decor and comforts inside the cottage. Everything worked fine and was as expected, if not better. 「We stayed in this home for the full month of March 2025. We rated this a 10 based on our top three requirements: next to the ocean, clean, comfortable beds. This home met all three requirements. The ocean with its spectacular crashing waves, stunning views, and swimming turtles was wonderful. The sound of the waves at night along with the comfortable bed made for excellent sleeping. 「The property is beautiful. The house had everything we needed. even stuff to take to the beach; chairs, coolers, snorkel gear, and boogie boards which is really nice since its really hard to fly to the island with all those things. There were 6 of us staying and we had plenty of space for everybody. We did have a little bit of an issue with having enough hot water for everybody to shower, but it wasn't a huge deal. The fresh fruit Patti left for us was delicious! Also there is no air...

「Beautiful respite in the rainforest just a few minutes away from Volcanoes National Park. We loved the huge green tree ferns and the flowers surrounding the property, giving it a private fantasy feeling, just like the pictures on the website. We loved the jacuzzi amongst the moss and ferns. We enjoyed the sounds of the many frogs and birds.」

「Loved the gardens and the gorgeous covered lanai (patio). The unit was spacious and the proximity to Volcano NP was amazing! The beds were comfortable. The very minimal kitchen equipment made it hard to make dinner (ie-no large frying pan, etc) and the light coloured carpet was quite stained throughout which lead to a feeling of it being dirty. Easy fixes would make this place 5 stars. 」

「My husband and I stayed here years ago for our anniversary and loved it so much, we came back! We brought our family and some friends and their kids. It was a great set up for all of us. And lovely location! Breathtaking views of the valley and the ability to easily get to the quaint town of Honoka’a. We specifically chose this location so we could have a central spot to come back to after exploring parts of the northern area of the island. Highly recommend! 」
