「The property is beautiful and in the off season the price was reasonable. The breakfast is over the top, lots of choices. The coffee was the only breakfast issue and the staff needs to be trained in this area, it was often cold or prepared improperly. The beach is wonderful but the area behind the lounges needs to be cleaned, it looked terrible. The construction on the port side was super loud and created industrial smell that was unpleasant. 「I will preface this review with that I went just after Super Typhoon Yagi. The hotel suffered a lot of damage and large parts of the hotel were closed off entirely. I know the resort would've suffered a lot financially because of this, but as a guest I was left a little miffed that I paid full price for part of the experience. I would've been more than happy if the resort recognised a few things were out of order and chucked in a few freebies like a massage or drinks vouchers. After all they had...

「First of all the staff and breakfast were amazing. The hiking trip organised by the hotel was awesome. The location is really good. The downsides there were lots of bugs in my room. I killed them all and i thought that was the end of it then on the last day upon checking out there was a huge cockroach on the floor, i presume their mother. The water pressure for the hot water didnt seem to exist at times and you had to run it for a while to make it work. 」

「It’s a wonderful place for vacation, very nice room and comfortable, good buffet breakfast, nice Gym, hot tub, nice steam room, nice sauna, very private room separate room for Men, separate for women. Hugh swimming pool, Separate for children area. Good delicious buffet breakfast with many choices. A must stay. Hotel, we were booked for 1 night, but decided to staying total of 3 nights stayed for 」

「Très bonnes prestations, hotel conforme à ce que l'on voit, propre. Par contre, cat ba a commencé de grands travaux d'agrandissement de la baie en gagnant sur la mer, donc la plage n'existe plus, et cela crée quelques nuisances car les travaux consistent à enfoncer des plots de 20m pour stabiliser la digue / remblais... et ce journet nuit. Malheureusement ce sera partout sur toute la zone... heureusement que la chambre est plutôt pas trop mal isolée」

「Great hotel and great location. A lot of cleaning up both at hotel (skybar and pool) and outside after typhon. It was very clean so we was very surpriced when we found a small bug living in the wall by the window at the breakfast. Otherwise it was a hreat stay. Restaurant in the hotel had so good food. Overall a fantastic stay. If i come back i will book this hotel and hope i get a toom with view over the bay. We had view over half the bay now. 」

「Cat Ba is a resort town with lots of mid-range restaurants and markets selling the same thins. We had hoped to bicycle more but it is very hilly and the bicycles available were not up to the task. With non-beach water, there isn’t that much to do. Roza Palace, is a nice hotel with friendly staff. 」

「Very nice experience, and the crews are nice and hospitality. A good way to get away from city and take some time to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere. 」
