Greater London Romantic Hotel

"The rooms and halls are dark. I’ve stayed at this hotel many nights because of its location. They would not take cash when I decided to stay extra nights. My credit card had been stolen in Paris so I only had cash. It was a huge hassle to sort it out. The rooms are good. Nice bedding, comfortable bed, a safe, a fridge and the supplies for coffee. The staff is fantastic. Helpful and friendly. USB ports by the bed would be helpful and it would be nice to have a clock in the room. The bathroom...

"I booked a 1 night stay for my wife and daughter and they have not stopped raving about what a fabulous hotel The Shard is. Staff absolutely lovely and the room and the views are apparently stunning. They were made to feel so welcome at Check in. They were really excited about the stay and expected the hotel to be great, but so far it has exceeded their expectations !!"

"So the hotel is amazing, the pictures do not do it justice. The common areas are incredible and the location is the best I've stayed in London, and I've been there a lot. The only downside was that the cleaning services were very inconsistent. For the first few days there were no issues, but towards the end there were several days we came back at 4PM and the room was still not cleaned and someone came and asked if they could clean. "Absolutely loved my experience here. Super courteous staff, amazing location, great food and amenities. The only thing that I struggled with was the television and the internet. YouTube was not working properly and there was no Netflix or Prime available. I was only there for one night so didn’t request it to be fixed either. But I’m sure they would’ve dealt with it. "

"2nd time staying here. Genuinely love staying, room fantastic, restaurant and breakfast fantastic. The real thing that makes it is the staff, every single one makes the experience worth it. My only grumble would be on arrival on both occasions had to wait for the room, this time just over an hour, but again staff couldn't have apologised more but to happen twice is a little disappointing. All that being said its still 5 stars from me. "

"Loved this hotel, only a few minutes walk away from the tube station but such a nice quiet area and easy to forget you were in London! Staff very friendly especially Victor and breakfast in the hotel was lovely, but a bit expensive. Can walk to St Paul’s Cathedral from here and the Millenium bridge. Would definitely stay here again."
