「We had a wonderful night in Portland! We spent the afternoon shopping in Freeport and arrived at the apartment around 5. Very easy finding parking on the street and no trouble getting inside. The apartment is absolutely adorable! Between the colors and decorations, it just gives off this girly, cozy vibe. There were 4 of us and we all had room to sleep comfortably. Wish we could have stayed another night! 」

「The view and location are amazing. The house was very comfortable for the three adults on our trip. It’s also very suitable for a family with kids as one of the rooms has two bunk bed sets. It’s comfortable, cozy, and completely relaxing. Within walking distance of the pier and entertainment. Great place to stay. 」

「This location is EVERYTHING!!! Right on the beach, cozy accommodations with spacious bedrooms was perfect for the 4 of us - with the 3rd bedroom, we could've included another couple! Host John was lovely!!!」

「The picture on VRBO leads you to believe you just go down the pathway shown to get to the beach when you are actually in a neighborhood and have to walk down the street to get to the beach. The house was very clean and both beds were very comfortable. The host was very fast to respond to my messages. Needs clean shower liner. We enjoyed our stay. 」

「The Globe House was a wonderful Plato spend a couple of days while exploring Portland. The house itself was immaculate and well appointed, with extra touches that put it a step above: the fresh scent from a diffuser welcomed us, a complimentary bottle of wine awaited us in the refrigerator, and luxe amenities like L’Occitane moisturizer were provided. 「This apartment on Munjoy Hill was very comfortable for 3 generations to spend the holidays together. It allowed for visits with friends since my mom is not very mobile these days. We got to spend some time enjoying our old neighborhood and all that it offers, including a growing number of restaurants and bars!」

「The location was amazing! Walking distance to the pier, and right by the beach! We enjoyed that it was far enough down from the pier that the beach was a bit less crowded but we were still able to walk downtown. The accommodations are very cute and rustic. Some things could use attention, like paint touch ups and the patio table needs replacing… however these were minor issues and we will be back! 」

「We had a very nice stay in this apartment. I would definitely recommend it to others. The owners were friendly and it was easy to get into the unit. The only drawback for anyone who's not quite so agile is the steep staircase to get to the bedrooms. It worked out fine for our family of four, so I just list this for anyone with mobility issues.」

「We had a wonderful stay - myself, my husband and my 6,4, and 2 year old children all enjoyed our time at the beach. We could have done without the harassment of the old lady from cottage 4 (owner perhaps?) telling us to get out at 10am. We were packing the car at 10:02 and trying to get the kids in - we were not in the cottage anymore everything was out. We left the property 10:11am. Her nagging and threats of charging extra were completely unnecessary. It was too bad to have to leave on...
