"We had a fantastic stay in Ambleside, largely due to the location of this property. A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views. A little difficult to find in the first place but once we located it, all was good! Thank you!"

"We stayed here with our four 20-something children, their partners and our mothers to celebrate a few birthdays. The house is a great size for our group. Bedrooms very comfortable, bathrooms great and the kitchen a good space. The living room and dining room are also great sizes for large groups. If there was only one downside it would be that the house would benefit from a refreshen-up, but everything worked for us for our stay, and we would stay again!!"

"Beautiful views… The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The host Janet was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and completely respected our privacy. Awesome place to stay, with amazing walks just outside the door. We loved the waterfall which was a very short walk away… The track leading to the accommodation is covered in potholes which is the only downside. The views and the walks outweigh this minor inconvenience. We highly recommend…"

"The road the cottage is on is extremely quiet and is just a short walk into Grasmere, there is a lot of space and the hot tub is great after a days walking! There is plenty within walking distance so you can leave the car for the weekend! "

"A group of walking friends who really enjoyed a fabulous stay at this clean, comfortable, warm and very well equipped apartment. Lovely peaceful location with great views from the lounge and bedroom/balcony. Struggled a little to find the road up to it on first arrival, was fine thereafter. Made use of the pool/jacuzzi & sauna facilities too, which although small, certainly helped ease the muscles after a days walking. Recommend a stay here. "

"Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. "Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."

"Perfect location for exploring the Lake District around Keswick. The apartment had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. "

"We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"We had an amazing week at Ullswater Cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for a week for a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 10. They loved the table tennis and pool facilities. The location of the cabin is great both on the site itself and within the lakes. We didn’t need to drive for more than 20 minutes to go anywhere (we could have if we wanted to but didn’t need to) and fitted so much into one week. Would definitely recommend. "

"All of the staff we dealt with were excellent. Staff very accommodating with breakfast requests (gluten free etc). Breakfast was consistently great and exceeded expectations. Room clean and pleasant, again exceeded expectations. Good location in Keswick, 10 mins walk into town. Would stay again."

"The hotel had character which we really appreciated. Priorities were matched to ours ie high quality bedding and towels and an excellent shower. The hotel is set in a lovely garden which gave you an “away from it all” feel. Staff were at the same time discreet and attentive. No gimmicks just good service "

"Staff were all welcoming and friendly. Jean was wonderful serving and making delicious breakfasts. The hotel was lovely and clean but bedroom furniture is a bit dated. We would however stay again. The hotel is in a great position to be able to walk to the lake, town, parks etc. "
