"Overall we had a great stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the WiFi didn’t work in our cabin which I needed to do some work. This place is excellent if you want to be close to Amsterdam but avoid the business. It’s located at one end of the Amsterdam Woodlands in Amstelveen, very close to Schiphol. "The property is classic center parcs with mainly aqua mundo as attraction. The activity center is quite basic. We stayed at a VIP marina apartment. It was quite specious and very well equipped. However, there is no air conditioning or ventilation opposing to what is stated in Expedia and no bug nets on the windows, which is quite a torture with hot august weather. The area of the hotel is charming with nice river beaches. Notice that the closest town/restaurant other than the hotel is ~15...

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not.
