「The hotel's location was great, as it sits atop a hill overlooking the city of Gondar. It does make for quite a walk into the city itself. If you are not up for walking, there's usually a tuk tuk hanging out outside, or you can have the hotel call a taxi. It's convenient to eat at the hotel, especially during the fasting time, however their food was palatable but not the greatest. The staff was friendly though, and there's a great souvenir shop located outside of the hotel as well. Besides...

「Fasil, the manager, sent the hotel shuttle to pick us up at the airport. The hotel was modern but with marble floors and high ceilings to keep it cool. It had a great restaurant especially for breakfast which was included. It had a terrace which was obviously a favorite gathering spot for locals as well as guests. Overall the service was great and the rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable.」

「This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. 「I have traveled the world with my family, and HIGHLY recommend the Mayleko Lodge. I selected the lodge at random, and was glad I did. The service was incredible. The Hotel Manger paid personal visits to our room to ensure that we were doing well, and in one case noted we were late for breakfast, and offered to arrange room service so we would not miss our breakfast.
