While only two of us stayed at this spacious house, we were able to offer a gathering place for the extended family that came to Gillette for a wedding. We hosted brunch for 15 and enjoyed the many sitting areas inside and out. The beds could not have been more comfortable - really excellent. Big closets. The kitchen was well-stocked with pantry staples including sugar, spices and food wrap that I usually have to buy. The front stairs from the sidewalk do not have a handrail, and the indoor stairs could be difficult for someone with mobility challenges, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage house like this one, which offers a lot of charm. We went to the Frontier Auto Museum, and we enthusiastically recommend it. So much more than cars, it has rooms full of relics of earlier times such as a1960-70 beauty salon, a drugstore soda fountain, a fully equipped phone booth, and much more. We found it endlessly interesting.
