"My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in Luxury Room with a View. My room was #130, hers #140. The hotel location is fantastic! The reception staff was so very kind on every occasion when we had questions to ask them.They also sold us the Ghent Card which gave us entrances to various tourist attractions and public transportation in Ghent. "We arrived a bit after 10pm, when the staff closes the desk and access to the property. We called from the entryway and were given access via a code we entered into a lockbox right there. The place was clean, and everything worked fine. "This is a great hotel ideally located for a longer visit and walk into the city. Our bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel. Although a long drive from Lincoln may have helped our sleep. The shower was excellent in terms of heat and power but the dated above bath holder and curtain let it down. It was too high and was best hand held or angered on the stability bar. That was a pity as otherise this was a nice hotel with great free parking. "

"Great location for exploring Ghent, very close but in a quieter area. Hotel rooms great but glad we didn’t book breakfast in advance for every morning - it’s very expensive for what you get- €50 for two people. We had it on the first morning and not great quality, the fruit looked like it had seen better days. Overall we would recommend staying here. "
