Beautiful home and relaxing views. The communication was excellent from the booking to the after the visit. The draws and lights were all tagged. Dog beds and treats for the fur babies. Reid state park was only a few miles away. Cannot wait to go make a return trip back.

Stellar Maine Vacation Rental
Summer at Wiggleswick Cottage - truly spectacular! Sara is a lovely host who thought of every single thing a human or dog could need while staying at her picturesque retreat. She is an excellent communicator and we felt like we were in our home away from home. The location is stunning, the home is comfortable and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommend a stay at beautiful Wiggleswick! We hope to be return visitors very soon. Thank you Sara for cultivating such a relaxing atmosphere.

Beyond Expectations
Our family had a perfect stay at this beautiful Maine home. We enjoyed playing games, going shopping at Freeport, eating dinner at The Osprey, playing badminton, and just enjoying sitting outside listening to the birds and the ocean. Could not have asked for anything more.

Perfect Maine Coast Escape
Beautiful home on Maine sea coast. Warm cabin feel with amazing attention to detail - the host truly thought of everything for both humans and pets. Short 20 minute drive to historic downtown Bath was also a plus.

Amazing vacation!!
What a beautiful property to kick back and relax!! Extremely cozy, you felt right at home. Sara is an impeccable host, from having the lights and music playing while entering the house to the doggy goody bag for our pups with some baked goods for the humans too!!

Wonderful Stay at Wigglewick Cottage
We’ve just spent a wonderful week in Maine. The cottage is very comfortable and the enjoying breakfast on the deck is fantastic. Sara was super helpful before, during and after our stay. She’s a wonderful guest. If you are looking for a remote place where you can enjoy the sea side, we would certainly recommend it.

Wonderful cabin
We came to Georgetown for a family emergency and this cabin was just what we needed. We were able to recharge and relax. Sara went above and beyond to get us in and even left us a sweet card and treats. Lots of little touches all over the house. Highly recommend

Winter wonderland
Ten stars for Wiggleswick’s Cottage and our time in Maine. The host was communicative and the house was immaculate. The property is lovely and the house amenities are top notch. I highly recommend this home for families with dogs. And I’m sure it is just as good in the summer as it is in the winter. We definitely want to return!

Absolute Best of Maine
We completely recommend Wiggleswick and have booked for 3 years in the early Fall. It is a great family vacation spot and we have had many wonderful experiences there. Reid State Park is great for sunning, hiking and climbing on the rocks ! Especially after a delicious breakfast at Mae's in Bath. The house is clean and furnished so well! We love Sara the Hostess with the most generous and outgoing personality! If you need something...just ask and she will do her best to accommodate your request! You won't find a better place to enjoy !!

Authentic Lobster Town
Beautiful, clean, well equipped home. Thoughtful label throughout make it easy to find everything you need. The ocean cove is within easy walking distance at the end of the property, and large lawns. The surrounding community is genuinely a lobstering town, with beautiful larger towns not too distant.

Loved the cottage and attention to detail
We all had a wonderful time at the cottage! The owner added many extra touches to welcome us and the dog. Everything was clean and well stocked. We were there for a wedding and spent a lot of time just relaxing on the deck enjoying family time together. Little disappointed that the dock was already up for the season but understandable due to weather issues. That just makes us want to come back earlier in the season to enjoy the water more! Thank you for the great memories!

We were blown away from the second we created the hill to the property. Sara goes above and beyond to give her guests a fun and memorable experience. Excellent cottage and location
We had a great stay at Wiggleswick cottage! Our 3yo son enjoyed the cottage and running outside. We also played fun games outside which are provided by the owners. We enjoyed campfire, seeing boats on the water and hearing ocean waves at night. Sara was great with responding to our questions and enjoyed seeing our pictures of us enjoying her cottage and our daily trips to pumpkin farm, wild animal kingdom, Bath, Boothbay harbor and Rockland, all of which are short drive from the house. Perfect Maine Cabin
My wife & I visited for our 1 yr anniversary and, coincidentally, our dog Manu's second b-day. Everything about the cottage was perfect. Sara went above & beyond in leaving us a beautiful anniversary platter and a bag with dog goodies. The platter was so good that we ended up eating that for dinner on our arrival day! The cottage was clean, communication with Sara was perfect, check-in was easy and the overall experience was great! One thing we look for is a fireplace and the one here is beautiful and well stocked with dry wood. It made for very cozy evenings and added to our special get away.

What we all needed
We love our yearly October trips to Maine but we all needed a vacation more than other years. We are so grateful to come across this location. The owner was immediately responsive before and while we were there to any questions. This place checks all of the boxes and the owner thinks of things that I would have never thought of. My family, friend, and dogs truly felt at home. My dogs were extra spoiled by their goodie bag. We didn’t even have to think out what was in each of the kitchen cabinets or what light switch turned on what because everything was labeled in such a thoughtful way. It had ever toy or relaxation item that any human or dog would need. Can’t thank you enough.

Authentic Maine Seacoast Vacation
Our family of 5 (all adults) loved our stay at Wiggleswick Cottage with it’s open comfortable layout. It was super clean and Sara has thought of everything! We loved that it is very close to the harbor at Five Islands, but not in the village itself. Reid State Park is within a 10 minute drive and we spent time at each of the three beautiful beaches. Our group was interested in hiking and Sara provided lots of information about the many trails on the island! She’s a very receptive host and responds very quickly to any questions. She even brought over a charcoal grill since we were inexperienced with the gas grill. Belvedere (the dock) was a huge highlight and we kayaked from there several times. So many places to explore. We highly recommend Wiggleswick!

Wonderful peaceful stay at Wiggleswick Cottage
From start to finish, our experience with Sara and Wiggleswick Cottage, was faultless. Sara is very responsive, an excellent communicator. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, well decorated, and very comfortable. Sara provided everything you could possibly need: makeup remover wipes, Q-tips, black hand towels for make-up removal, thick quality towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cords for your electronics, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, dishwasher pods, dish liquid, paper towels, napkins, coffee, tea, coffee bean grinder, drip coffee maker, insta pot, electric tea pot, toaster, pots and pans, sharp knives, and the list goes on. The beds are super comfy. We enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around deck, viewing the sunrise and the deer moseying on the lawn. It’s about 25 minutes to Bath and 55 minutes to Boothbay Harbor. If you want to de-stress and want a peaceful, clean place to stay, this is it.
