Downtown Gatlinburg Condo - 115 Oak Square. End Unit - Adorable 1 bedroom (new KING size bed in bedroom) condo in downtown Gatlinburg just across from the Ober Gatlinburg Tram. Parking below condo. Park your car and walk to everything Gatlinburg has to offer. Literally steps from the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountains. A few miles from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Heated indoor pool and an outdoor seasonal pool. New pull out sofa in living room.

Decent value stay, great location
My wife and I stayed for a long weekend over Easter. The owner is great and very easy to work with. She did a great job communicating with us. The location of this property is great, with downtown and many attractions walkable. The condo is “cozy” and appeared to be mostly updated. The unit is on the smaller side, and doesn’t have much storage or counter space. Two areas that I would point out as negative, the ceiling fans and a few other areas (bathroom towel rack) had visible dust. Area above the fan in living area had dust bunnies in ceiling and wall. The other item was that the pictures of the exterior didn’t exactly match. The pool was empty and in disarray, perhaps for the winter season, it we did see other pools near this property open and in use. The general exterior could use a clean up. Either issue didn’t negatively impact our stay but were obvious to us while enjoying our weekend away. Good value for the price we paid.

Unable to check in because rental was occupied
When we arrived at approximately 9:00 pm, our rental (reserved back in January), was occupied by other people. We used the electronic door code, but the door was security chained shut. The couple inside then began yelling and slammed the door on us. I knocked and explained that we had the condo rented via VRBO. The man inside continued to yell that he had a "paper" booking, was staying through the weekend and wasn't leaving. He refused to show any paperwork or email confirmations of a legitimate booking. I called host Becky to figure out what was going on, but she did not return our call right away. We were 12 hours away from home and it was now around 10 pm on a Saturday night. We decided to find another hotel, however there was very little available (Sat night, spring break). We ended up finding a hotel in Pigeon Forge at the last minute, but it cost us and extra $600 from what we booked with Becky & VRBO. Becky called back later that night and was confused about who was in the rental and how this happened. In a follow up message the next day, she indicated that she had multiple units in the same building, and there was a mistake in giving the other couple our unit number / door code. Becky refunded us the full amount of the condo. However, the location was not ideal and we dealt with extra traffic all week. I try to be forgiving, however this mistake cost us extra money, time and put a damper on the whole week. It was a horrible experience.

The condo was in a great location. Right off the strip. Walkable to everything you'd want to see and do in downtown Gatlinburg. Parking was right there and very easy. Just a couple minutes drive into the park for hiking or a nice drive in the mountains. I had hot water for every shower! When we arrived, I noticed there wasn't a coffee maker. Becky responded within minutes and had one in the room by the time we got back from dinner. Very responsive. If i visit Gatlinburg in thefuture, I'd stay here again.

Great location!!!
The condo is in an excellent to downtown. We left our truck parked the entire time we were in Gatlinburg and walked everywhere! The first full day there we couldn’t figure out how to use the stove top. The host had a maintenance man there within a few hours to look at. Turns out that someone unplugged everything to the stove top. The last morning we were there, we woke up with no heat. This was at no fault of the owner. We turned on the electric fire place and it warmed up enough for us to take showers. Overall, I would recommend this place and we would stay again!

One of our favorites!
This is the second time we have stayed in this condo and it again ranks as one of our favorites. The location can’t be beat. The bed in the bedroom is so comfy! As an adult, the mattress in the pull out sofa leaves something to be desired but my kids (age 6 and 8) didn’t complain. The kitchen is stocked with essentials to get you started. And the owner is very communicative. We look forward to staying again next year!

Early Anniversary/Vols Game
This condo was just what my husband and I needed for a little getaway.The unit is so quaint and cozy,not to mention very convenient and very clean. It has everything you needed and walking distance to the strip. Bed was super nice haven’t slept that good in a long time.Becky was so wonderful and very quick on responding to any of my questions,check in was super easy.We are already planning another trip and will be booking here again.

Long weekend Getaway with Hubby
We’ve stayed at Oak Square many times over the years. This unit is by far the best. Cleaner than the others. It has everything you need including oven and dishwasher. The bed is Super comfortable and furniture nice. You park your car and walk everywhere. The owner is extremely helpful and returns your messages quickly. Check in is a snap. Thank you, Becky. Perfect location to downtown!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this unit. It was perfectly located and a 1 block walk to downtown Gatlinburg. Saved us from having to pay for parking which can be pricey. Unit is small, but clean and cute, and as well appointed as it could be. Internet was spotty, but thats every where in Gatlinburg. Very limited TV stations, I would bring a firestick next time and hope for the best with the internet. Bed was very comfortable, as was the couch. Owner was extremely responsive to questions when we got there. Nice balcony overlooking the pool. The street was a bit busy, and a bit loud on the balcony, but no noise inside the unit at all. We would definately stay here again.
