"Nice swimming pool and big clean room with big bathroom (we had a family studio). Staff very friendly and big underground car park available on site. The only thing is that given the location you need the car to go out for dining, shopping and to the beach, but this goes without saying if you look at where the hotel is located on the map."

"Amazing location located not too far behind the Monte Carlo, and for the same price as a hotel, you get a studio apartment. The breakfast was pretty good too and, while expensive, is likely a cheaper option for those eat a lot. The wifi was great at times and terrible at others, but I suspect that was somehow the fault of my devices since it worked perfectly at times."

"I could not find fault in the property. It is centrally located and customer service was excellent and this will set them apart from the rest. The moment we checked-in we were taken care of right away by Liliana even if we arrived early for our check-in. We stayed for seven nights. "We have stayed here many times with variable opinions each time. The location is fabulous but the place is beginning to look tired and in need of a good refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. It is a large property and the inflated price reflects the location not the property itself, considering you only get one set of towels per person, have to strip beds and clean at the end of the stay otherwise you are charged. "I have stayed 7 nights and relied on public transports in order to visit Nice, Cannes and Monaco. The breakfast wasn't great, but I did take coffees upstairs to the accommodation and had some pastries I bought at the supermarket nearby. There were thunderstorms at some point and I had to stay indoors, and it was quiet and relaxing and I just watched Netflix. "This hotel has a lot of charm in the prime of Nice. The rooms were very comfortable, and it was surprisingly big to be in Europe and the age of the building. The view was excellent. "What a great place to stay when visiting Nice! Directly across from Blue Beach. Spend a little extra for the sea view room and listen to the sea all night long. The hotel, room and property was very clean. Excellent and attentive staff. The hotel is located in a safe area and still within about a 20 minute walk to Old Nice for the markets, shopping and dining. Take in the view from Castle Hill or for more activity, walk to see the view from the top of Mount Boron. "

"I enjoyed my brief stay here. The hotel is clean and well cared for. There are multiple areas to sit and relax in the lobby area which I liked. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Although I’m in Nice to learn French it was good to be able to converse in English when needed. I’ll definitely stay again. "

"I’ve stayed at some incredible five-star hotels in the past, but nothing compares to Hotel El Negresco. The experience was, by far, the most amazing I've ever had. I can't stop raving about the staff! Juliette and Philippe, the concierges, truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was impeccable; they are the stars of the show. They arranged a car rental for us and recommended the most incredible places to see. This trip was very important for my family, and Jerome was incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived. He had our keys ready, an umbrella on hand, and ensured that we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff, including Tom and Eric at the front door, were also extremely attentive and welcoming. I can't forget to mention the wonderful ladies and gentlemen at breakfast. The service was top-tier! I’m sure I’m missing a few names, but every single staff member was amazing. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Hotel El Negresco! "
