This gorgeous home is the perfect place to unwind and relax in style, whether you're planning a wine-tasting excursion with friends or a romantic getaway for two. Here near the heart of historic downtown Fredericksburg, you can come home from days spent exploring the Texas Hill Country to kick back on the comfortable sofa, watch your favorite movies on the flatscreen TV, and enjoy the peace and serenity of the yard from the comfort of the front porch.

What's nearby:
This home is located one block off Main Street in Fredericksburg, a town known for its historic charm and numerous wineries and tasting rooms. Hop on a local shuttle to take a wine-tasting tour of Highway 290, or take a walk to check out the local shops and restaurants all along Main Street. Every third Saturday of the month is Fredericksburg Trade Days, featuring live music, wonderful food, and plentiful opportunities to shop.

Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house is super comfy and has everything you need. They did note there’s no oven or dishwasher but the convection oven works great. The AC took all afternoon/night to cool the house but the property manager was very responsive and even came to check on us in the morning to see if it had cooled off. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a place in the area.

Nicely furnished and great location. Weird that 6 can stay but no proper dining table. 4 stools at counter and a game table for 2 in LR. Almost every coffee cup was chipped as many of the dishes. There was coffee but zero sweeteners. Never stayed at a short term that hasn’t had a few pantry items. Smoke alarms/carbon detectors strobed frequently during night. It would be difficult to stay here more than a few nights which is a shame because it is a lovely little place!

Beautiful staycation from San Antonio with my elderly parents and my young daughter. Quiet neighborhood, absolutely lovely home with 2 large bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. We brought our 2 small dogs which completed the family. Just 1 block off of Main Street and so close to the lovely Christmas decorations of Fredericksburg! We will be coming back for wine tours in the next few months!

The house is a conversion of an old farmhouse. It’s located one street off of Main St. making walking to everything possible (it is on the west end so walks are long). The main house sleeps 4 adults comfortably though the second bath is fairly small and the shower tight. The main bedroom and bath are spacious. The kitchen is fair sized, modern, and usable, but you may want to bring your own pans if doing much cooking. There is no dishwasher. Overall, we loved the convenience to town and found it quite comfortable.

House has been nicely remodeled. Someone clearly put in effort in the decor. It’s nice that it feels intentional and not just left over furniture someone put in their rental, especially at such a reasonable price point. Screened in patio was nice. The kitchen amenities were ok. No oven or dishwasher. Being a short term rental it’s fine. Just remember to buy a dish sponge. If you wanted specific kitchen items (e.g. a whisk or large frying pan) I’d bring that with, but not everyone cares about that. There was a coffee maker which was enough for us ;-)

I read the previous reviews and even though the property is very nice, little things were noted in previous reviews we’re still unaddressed such as the door knob very loose…the mattress on the brown sofa sleeper is badly stained and pillows were musty smelling. The outside of the building is in bad need of some wood replacement and paint. But the inside has been renovated and is very nice. I would consider renting this property again.

We really enjoyed ourself. The house is a perfect size for our family of 3 and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was with the hot water in the master shower. It took some time to adjust the knobs properly to get hot water. But all in all it was a great place to stay.

Mixed Feelings
The furniture and decor was great! However, there are some misleading statements in the description. There is no stove in the kitchen, just a range top and toaster oven. The advertised “grill” is a tiny butane camp burner on a wobbly table on the porch. The pictures of the front of the house lead one to believe it sits back from the road, this is not true..it sits close to the street. The front porch is not a quiet place to sit. The neighbor’s barking dogs and road noise can be heard throughout the house. Flickering lights, exposed bulbs, and missing fixtures are also in the house. The door knob fell off when we tried to close the master bedroom door. The shower fixtures are clogged and nothing sprays right, which is sad because they look nice until you try to use them. The master bathroom fan also didn’t work. We looked past all of this for the location and decor, but it is worth noting this property needs some work.

My husband came to Fredricksburg on a whim and were able to book this place last minute. We really loved it- clean, good AC, nice accommodations in a cute neighborhood that was insanely well located. Note that there’s a large tree in the back that you normally park under- would reco not to do that since our car was covered in sap after one night! Just park in the street- it was totally fine!
