Our stay in Florence was made so easy and convenient by staying here at Residenza Maglioni. It is situated within a 5min walk to the Duomo and so many other sites in Florence. The room itself was well kept and tidy with a comfy bed and easily accommodated my wife, son and I. It was the perfect place for our 2 night stay.

Better than a hostel, but nowhere near as good as an AirBnB. Incredibly basic. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and as a result, the room was steamy after a shower. On a positive note, check-in was easy and the people attentive.

The plus side is how central the placement of this facility is. The down side is that we got a room that was giving directly into the building main stairs, we could hear people coming and going at all times of the night. As you can expect in such building the heavy doors opening and closing are very loud and there are many people going around sometimes very late or very early. We did not get a full night sleep without interruption.
