「My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. 「This is a great little spot and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place on Lake Lure. It’s convenient and well taken care of in a good location on the lake and having the dock to relax on and the kayaks to take out made for a really great vacation. 「We had a wonderful stay at this resort! My husband and two kids stayed in the treehouse and had plenty of room. It was very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and courteous, very attentive to any needs during our stay. We don’t even play golf but will definitely stay here again. 「The owners were nice and helpful. The room is comfortable, beautifully appointed with early 20th century furnishings, a large bathroom with a soaking tub with a shower, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Entrance to the room is directly from outside so you do not enter any other area of the house. There’s a nearby park with a walking trail. There’s also a large stone patio right outside the room. We would definitely stay again. We had a lovely weekend!」
