Specialty Restaurants are small, and difficult to get reservations. The buffet, however, is good and makes up for not being able to get a reservation, but if you really want to eat at one of the specialty restaurants, you'll have to wake up early and book early because you can only book 24 hours in advance.
Also, the resort is in the heart of a community and so if your room is on the side closest to the community, hear all the music from the parties that they're having most nights that goes till wee hours of the morning.
It's along the beach so that's nice. It's family, friendly, so if you are looking for adult activities at night, such as parties and so forth, you will not find it there. You'll have to stay at one of the adult only RIU.
Overall, it was a good experience however it is very new and there are quite a few kinks that needs to be worked out still.
