「There was no one working at the hotel. Doors were locked and you had to have a cold to get in. Neither Expedia or the hotel gave me a cold. I did not stay because I couldn’t get in and had to go to another hotel. I will be filing a claim to be reimbursed, absolutely terrible experience, considering being in a foreign country where I did not speak the language plus I have poor visibility/poor vision. 」

「Overall a very pleasant stay. Good location within 10 minute walk to beach and 3 minute walk to train station. No train noise at all. At check-in had issues reaching the property manager to fix a clogged kitchen sink and a broken electric window shutter, but once VRBO got involved these were addressed and for the most part the property was in good condition.」

「Such a perfect location and the host was remarkably accommodating. He even helped to arrange a transfer to and from Lisbon airport. Wonderful location! I hope we get to stay there again someday!」

「The washroom was not really clean. We could not throw our toilet paper in the toilet due to the host rule. Also, the AC didn’t work and the bed pillows were so hard to lay on. However, this place is not far from Cascais center and the neighbourhood is quiet! It’s easy to access to the building, its a great place if you want to stay for a few days. 」

「Check in process was great. However the bedrooms bathrooms both smelt awful of mould and damp. We did mention this but they just came back with more towels. Each drain seemed to be blocked as every shower would over flow and cause problems within the bathroom. Everything else was great apart communication regarding checkout. 」

「The apartment was ideal and a home from home. We had a perfect holiday and would recommend. 」

「The entire apartment is completely updated. The balcony was my favorite place to have coffee in the morning and sunning in the afternoon. Fernando and Maria Jose are great hosts with many recommendations for shopping and places to eat. Short walk to water, shopping and train station. Coffee shop, excellent restaurant and convenience store just a few minutes walk. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat」

「This is a wonderful apartment and within walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and the ocean. A couple minor suggestions we gave to the owners: there's a street light right outside the upstairs bedroom window so thicker/darker curtains might be nice, the wifi seems weaker upstairs, and the water temp in both showers seemed inconsistent. But overall, a very nice stay in a beautiful city.」

「Central Location In Cascais: The location of the property couldn’t be better. It’s by the Auchan, the bus and train stations. Less then 7 minutes to get into downtown. 「A mixed experience at the villas. The villas sit within the boutique hotel grounds which is partnered with the main hotel. You can use all of the facilities for both with a small gym at the boutique and pools at both. The resort was pretty quiet so no issues sitting at the pool with sunbeds, the weather was poor so we tried to find other things to do but were limited. A games room might have been nice. We had a three bed villa and it was very spacious and had pretty much everything for self...

「The host was not helpful in finding the place. The beds were not as described. The second shower didn’t have a faucet head and mold everywhere. This place was not as advertised and the worst thing is the host tried to ask for extra “city tax” money that we had to call vrbo to clear up. The host refuses to communicate via vrbo app because they try to ask for extra euros to be left in cash. A very dishonest host. I wouldn’t recommend this place.」
