「Beautiful, somewhat remote location nestled on Cane Bay. No frills but nice rooms with gorgeous ocean views. Close to Cane Bay Beach, Mimi and Johnny’s snack shack and the Landing Restaurant. Alma on the property is also an excellent restaurant offering amazing seafood and cocktails. Perfect for a quiet getaway or chill beach vacation. If you’re looking for more of a resort feel the Buccaneer may be a better option. 」

「I’ve stayed at this location before and you can’t beat the location. It’s just the sound of the waves and it’s right outside your door. The maintenance of the landscaping could be better. I know that there has been more rain than usual but this shouldn’t be an excuse. The parking area was also overgrown and could use better security lighting. Could hear street activities but 10p quiet time respected by those outside and inside hotel. 「Victoria House is a boutique hotel in downtown Frederiksted, right across from the water. The hotel is eclectic, beautiful and relaxing and it felt like home. Each room is special and welcoming. 「I have been coming to The Cottages for 10 years, and it feels like a warm hug every time I visit. What could be better than waking up and walking out your cottage door, and the ocean is in front of you!! 「We spent 8 days on island and this was the perfect home base for the week. It's not fancy, but it has updated amenities, it's clean, comfortable, has everything you need, (including beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels) minutes from Christiansted-but away from the crowds. When we had questions we just texted the owner and she responded within minutes. Definitely recommend if you're on a mid-range budget. It's worth every penny...」

「We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!」
