「Casa Lila is a simply beautiful 300 year old riad, within the walls of the medina, an easy walk to everywhere in Essaouira. The people who work there are warm, lovely and welcoming- they are so helpful, and they love their city. We had a wonderful stay.」

「At my arrival I did smell some fresh paint, when I told the front desk about it in friendly way, I was told there is no smell, and you’re not supposed to smell it in a sarcastic way. What a great start at the front desk. Then the guy behind the desk gave the room keys to the bellman I followed him, the room was not ready. I went for a walk for few minutes without even a word. The checkout was great, very professional and with a smile. 」

「It was a nice stay overall. Excellent location where I could visits all the spots on foot. The staffs there were nice and helpful. The room was clean (just the light was a bit dim). I enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop very much. By the way, the tax charge stated on Hotel.com was incorrect MAD19.8 per person night, but turned out MAD30 instead) which made me a bit confused during check-out. Kindly amend the information. 」

「The rooms are stunning and beautiful with the tile mosaics and artwork along with the rooftop for sunset and dinner! We were lucky to enjoy live entertainment while having a delicious dinner by the tiled wall overlooking the ocean. Also enjoyed an included breakfast with amazing service. Be ready to climb some stairs and quirky bathrooms. Great location within the Medina and would highly recommend! Thankyou」

「Nous étions seulement de passage, nous sommes restés qu'une nuit avec nos 3 enfants mais le logement était super, vue incroyable, prestation à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous n'avions juste pas prévu que c'était de l'autre côté de la médina donc pas trop pratique si on doit aller à la voiture ou faire des allers retours avec les enfants.」

「I only stayed one night but the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The riad was beautiful inside and so was the room. Sheets and bedding covers may need renewals as there were markings of old stains. I was not in doubt that it was clean though and it wouldn’t abstain me from visiting again. The breakfast was lovely and the view from the roof amazing just by the beach. 」

「Très beau riad vue sur mer depuis un belle veranda fermée ou la terrasse a coté. Vue dur mer depuis certaines chambres. Bon pett dejeuner. Dans les remparts kien situé pour les visites a 12 mn des parkings. Par contre le site decrit mal les chambres verifier si vue sur mer ou fenêtre sur mer sur le site de l'hôtel. Bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre un peu petite mais cosy. Odeur d'humidité mais en bord de mer c'est plutôt normal.」

「We had an amazing 3 nights at this property. It was sooo relaxing here! So much space and beautiful, inside and out. The owners were lovely and made us feel really welcome (particularly important when we didn't find the property straight away - Google maps took us a road too far... thankfully Kamal shared his location and we got there straight away, then!)Kamal also arranged for us to have our food prepared by a delightful local lady and both meals were delicious! (A tagine and a couscous meal)...
