「We stayed at Saltwater over the Christmas period and was able to enjoy all that Shaldon has to offer at this time of year.Saltwater was a great property for the two of us. It is in an ideal position with its own parking (which is a must in the village), close to the centre and all the activity. It was an ideal size for us, spotlessly clean and decorated for Christmas for our arrival- which was a very nice touch.Thank you!」

The food was home cooked and plentiful (real ales and great wine list) ate there most nights. The cottage had everything you needed and the owner couldnt have been any nicer or more accommomodating. 「The cute, cosy cottage was warm, welcoming, immaculately clean and very well-equipped - a real home-from-home! Shaldon is a picturesque seaside village with a smattering of fab eateries and cute, independent shops. Also well-situated with good transport links to Teignmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Dartmoor. Carol was a lovely host who sent clear check-in instructions. We really enjoyed our stay! 」

「Brixham is beautiful. The property has amazing views. Shower over bath, ok ISH, but the tap leaks. It also leaks in the kitchen. No recycling and the outside bin was full to the brim. We paid extra £100 for linen and was expected to strip beds on vacating. Think this is a bit much to ask when you have to vacate at 9.30am and the fact we paid extra £100 for this service.
