Now connected to the "Prospectors Trail Trailhead" The largest "OHV" (Off Highway Vehicle) System in the State of Minnesota. Bring you're "ATV" "UTV" "Snowmobile" And have a ball ! We have plenty of parking for you're trucks and trailers. Fiber-Optic Cable T.V.- WiFi- Internet Is lightning fast. 60 inch Sharp 4K HD Flat screen on swivel wall mount. 14 Foot "Smoker Craft" Aluminum fishing boat with Minn Kota electric trolling motor provided for guests unlimited use, gas grill with full tank ready to start the BBQ now. This amazing little lodge/cabin is the only structure on Kaunonen lake. Featuring 80 acres of complete privacy, located in the heart of the "Iron Range" Embarrass Minnesota, less than 15 miles to "Giants Ridge" or "Babbitt" less than 30 Minutes to "Ely" or "Lake Vermilion" 2-bedrooms and 2- bathrooms, modern interior, and of course the "VIEWS" open year round. Don't short change your experience on some tiny hotel or condo with no room to really relax. Have your own private lodge on your own private lake. If you can top that. "go for it" otherwise please come and enjoy the hospitality i always deliver to my renters.

Just a city girl hanging out in the forest!
I absolutely love this cozy place! This is my 3rd stay and every time it’s a little better than the last! It has just about everything you would need to be comfortable, even has WiFi! That was a plus for the short time I had to work. The view from the cabin and on the deck is pure beauty! The host is always available and very helpful. I’ll be back!

2 fishing buddies just looking for a place to stay. This was a very peaceful getaway. The cabin is about half an hour from any town, but thats ok since we were fishing multiple lakes. Why pay big money for just a place to sleep when your going to other lakes!

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a little getaway! Owner was very friendly and helpful with the issues we had with our email (used apple relay). If you enjoy stunning views of nature, You’ll enjoy having your morning coffee/tea in the little “sunroom area” , the patio, or the dining area. The washer and dryer were also a nice bonus, as to not have to do laundry when you’re vacation is over. Will absolutely return soon!

Nice location house needs work and new furniture
Mitch was a good host, the property was in a nice location. The house needs work, under sink was rotted, toilets are small and in tight spaces. The furniture was uncomfortable and in bad shape. There were lots of mousetraps and poison. The walls and trim are going. It would be a great place if you put some work into it. As it is it works but don't expect to much. The wind blew thru the place so we had to have the furnace cranked up to where it ran often. Will I be back I doubt it.

Amazing getaway!
My friends and I stayed at this property just this weekend. When we arrived the property was very clean. We used the kitchen for every meal and had no problems! We even took the boat out for a spin. The property is in a nice spot, secluded and private. Overall awesome getaway thanks to this amazing property!
