The rooms are dated but relatively comfortable. There was water damage on the roof of the bathroom in rm 527. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. The staff was polite and was able to get us a few more pillows immediately.
The pool area really leaves something to be desired. It's dark, small and in need of some serious Re&Re. There was some scaffolding in the area so maybe that's in the plans.
The breakfast area was incredibly, almost unbearably warm. The food provided was pretty good (eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns). Although not a lot of variety for breads. Just toast was offered, and only apples and oranges for fruit.
Location to downtown is ideal but the individuals hanging on the street and outside the attached pub might make some nervous. We never had any issues though.
