「Good clean room. Comfortable bed Powerful shower -excellent Food - ok not really much taste. Prawn cocktail wasnt brilliant , lettuce wasnt washed, not many prawns. Steak cooked to well (which i asked for) but not much taste to the meat. Would stay again maybe not dine. 」

「Really friendly staff, great bedroom, comfy bed, tea/coffee/hot chocolate provided is top end. Great size car park and outside space. Good English breakfast,lots of extra tea if needed. Rooms all upstairs, so if you have mobility issues, it might not be good for you.」

「Fabulous stay at the George inn. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Love the quirkiness of the pub / hotel. It's a beautiful old building and has rich history. The breakfast is fantastic, our family room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Excellent car park and superbly based to see the gorgeous surroundings. Highly recommend anyone staying here. 」

「I stayed here for work in the area. Accomodation is clean and staff were friendly. Has a good selection of food and drink. I had the best fish and chips here ive had in quite a while but the menu is large enough t cover pub grub or a good steak or curry. I liked it here and would stat again no issue. 」

「A lovely venue for a few days R&R in this part of Dorset. The accommodation is modern, spacious and of good quality, with great on-site facilities (pool, sauna, etc). Recommended.」

「Excellent stay for our trip to The New Forest. The room was cosy, had everything that was needed from table n chairs, two comfy chairs, very comfy bed and pillows. Iron and board, towels, wash flannel, all wash/cleaning equipment, mini cooker, toaster, pint milk in fridge. Everything was perfect. I would say though that coyld have done with a better iron as it didn't seem to iron properly. Apart from that the stay was excellent. Would definately recommend. 」

「My husband and I stayed at the White Lion Inn for one night while en route to visit friends, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Despite seeing some negative reviews prior to our stay, we found them completely unfounded. The pub is a stunning example of a place run by people who truly love what they do. 「A pleasant stay in an attractive country pub The room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed comfortable. The food was good especially the breakfast. It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking. Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road.
