「Avoid Waiheke Island Resort! Had a terrible experience where our room was completely not clean even when first checked-in! Dirty and unprepared, bedsheet unmade, towels all over toilet, used coffee cup in kitchen. Staff were unhelpful with insufficient follow-ups, even hanging up on us. They moved us to a worse room without the view we paid for to settle and couldn't reach them anymore to assist luggage up and down the stairs changing over rooms. No follow-up or proper apology, hair still spot...

「The view of the harbour from my room was sublime, very peaceful and serene. The unit was very spacious and had ample sleeping for five. I relaxed and enjoyed the coverage of the Paris Olympics provided on Sky while gazing out at the tranquil waters. A short drive to restaurants and bars. 「Our stay at the Sands was great. The communication from Waiheke Unlimited was great. The location is perfect, right on the beach and waking distance to cafes and restaurants. The room was comfortable and had extra amenities like a coffee machine! Perfect for a short or long stay. Our room was only a 1br but we had many family and friends there with 2 and 3 bedrooms which were all lovely. Couldn’t fault it」
