「Excellent value 」

「The Red Lion was "going under new ownership" upon our arrival. We were the first customers. The facility was historic and quaint. The food was good although it was obvious things were just getting going. I felt safe and it was nice to be in a lovely English village for the evening. Thank you David, for your conversation and consideration.」

「Lovely welcome, clean, warm comfortable room. The only problem was, I was unable to eat at the premises on Monday evening this time of year. Apparently they start serving.evening meals again on Monday evenings come March time.」

「A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. 」

「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,...
