“We were very dubious due to some bad reviews but we were really happy with our executive barn with hot tub. Really nice accommodation in a great location which was clean and comfortable throughout. We were also lucky enough our hot tub was hot enough to use on the first night. Only downsides were speed bumps are very severe, WiFi was glitchy and could have done with some sharp knives. But they are minor issues for us. Would definitely stay again. ”

“This was our second visit to Fistral hotel and it was just as good this time as we remembered the first time. The food is always so good, the breakfast totally worth the price, the hotel itself is lovely, has a chilled vibe and perfect views of the beach. But most of all the staff are so attentive, nothing is too much trouble, everyone is so friendly & seem so happy to be there. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in by far! Can’t wait to go back again !!!”

“Don’t let the arrival at the front put you off, as the hotel’s ambience is all to do with its fabulous position overlooking Mawgan Porth bay. The sea and sky views from all the main views are stunning. Restaurant and all day diner serve high quality local, fresh choices. The hotel caters for families and dogs- so not ideal if you are looking to get away from it all. Breakfast concentrates on buffet bakery products of cakes and croissants: which proves stodgy for a longer stay; but they do……

“Parking isnt the easiest but we did stay here during the Sea Shanty Festival so anticipated this. Hilly but walkable distance into the town. ”

“Unfortunately a noisy first night due to a wedding. Much quieter on the Sunday. Hotel did give us some discount and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience ( and lack of sleep). Food was very good and couldn't fault breakfasts. May check in future about functions and the whereabouts of our room in relation to other wedding guests. ”

“The flushng water of toilet is not in order sometimes and the toilet door is difficult to clsed.”

“Our room has the best view looking out to the beautiful Gyllngvase Beach and it is just around 8 mins walk to it. Nice breakfast and staff, room is clean and have everything you need. Town centre is also within walking distance.”
